90 minutes of slow then fast then real fast hardcore techno! Many songs I wrote and many songs I love!
When did you start DJing?
In 2011, with lots of help from Ali Berger and the internet.
First gig:
A friend’s basement in the winter, pure bloghaus vibes.
Favorite party ever played:
Mama Mia! Probably gonna go with Nature Loves Courage in Crete last year, playing slamming hardcore to close the festival as the sun rose over the hills on a beach. It felt like the earth was breathing and I cried twice.
Fave DJ:
NK Badtz Maru, Phoneg1rl, and Doxa crush every time, I’ve learned so much from them. Juliana Huxtable is probs the most mind-bending DJ I’ve ever seen, her approach to mixing stuns me.
Fave producer:
I love Ophidian’s work, the range of styles and emotions is inspiring.
Pet peeve when DJing:
Grouchy goons on the dance floor! Not seeing any friends to smile at.
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever gotten?
Dancing hard is the best compliment!
Place you’d like to play:
I really like the programming at Unpolished. Also any of the larger Dutch hardcore festivals would be exciting.
